Frank Ingari

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Frank Ingari serves as the Chairman of the board and CEO of Purkinje, focused on strategy and business development. He has been a successful entrepreneur and senior executive in several information technology markets. He was CEO and Chairman of Shiva Corporation, a pioneer in the remote access market, taking the company public with Goldman, Sachs in 1994. Prior to the IPO, he was named "Private Company CEO of the Year" by Upside magazine. Previously he served as VP and GM of the spreadsheet division at Lotus Development Corporation, and as SVP at Atex Inc., a division of Kodak. He was also founder and Chairman of Wheelhouse Corporation, an early ASP (application service provider) in the customer relationship market. He has a broad range of Board experience including public companies such as Powersoft, Sybase, Individual, and Microstrategy as well as private, venture-backed start-ups. In addition to his duties at Purkinje, he serves on the board of MetaCarta Corporation and the Presidential Advisory Board of the Berklee College of Music. Ingari graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University.



Greg Rice

Chief Financial Officer

Greg Rice is a CPA and Attorney with experience in a variety of accounting, corporate finance, and legal roles. Prior to earning his graduate degrees, Greg held a number of financial management positions including serving as Corporate Treasurer at CCC Information Services in Chicago, IL. Greg served as Director of Project Management and Administrative Affairs at Exelon Thermal Technologies in Chicago and as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Electric City Corporation, a publicly-traded manufacturer of energy conservation and demand management products based in Elk Grove, IL. In these roles he restructured business lines to improve efficiency, negotiated major corporate financings, and managed acquisitions. Greg received a bachelor's degree in Accounting at the University of Idaho and an MBA and JD at the Illinois Institute of Technology.



Thomas D. Doerr, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board

In recent years Dr. Doerr has transitioned to a part time practitioner and devoted his time to helping physicians and hospitals learn how to use the internet to improve health care. He is one of the founders of Wellinx, (Purkinje's predecessor), and has several patents pending relating to the use of wireless computer technology in health care. Dr. Doerr brings to the Company a deep understanding of technology and the frustrations a primary care physician deals with every day. He has devoted his career to finding ways to use technology to provide value to physicians while improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Doerr is a Board Certified Internist, and received his medical training at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, graduating in 1983. His residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa was completed in 1986. From 1986 through 1999 Dr. Doerr was a practicing physician at St. Louis, Missouri based Esse Health.



Mary-Anne Carignan

General Manager – Canadian Operations

Mary-Anne has acquired broad international managerial experience with global firms such as Philip Morris, part of the Kraft and Nabisco family of companies. Her experience spans 17 years and in areas such as Trade Finance, Client Management and Corporate Finance and in locations such as Lausanne, Switzerland, Zagreb, Croatia and Antwerp, Belgium. Mary-Anne earned honors MBA from the Business School of Lausanne and is recognized as a hands-on manager who is focused on driving sustainable results. She has spearheaded successful transitions of multiple organizations which include fostering new corporate cultures, implementing company-wide operational initiatives and building strong client-focused environments. She joined Purkinje after her tenures as General Manager with Fusion MD and The Catalyst Group; both operating in the US and Canada. Mary-Anne is the Vice-President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada and works with volunteer associations such as Americans in Montreal and the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada.



Joel Andersen

Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

During his 12 plus years in the healthcare software industry Mr.Andersen's roles have ranged from product management, development, marketing, sales, support, and operations, to physician consulting. He has extensive experience with the design, development, and deployment of practice management, EMR, EDI, and managed care software applications. Mr. Andersen came to Purkinje from e-MDs, a US based EMR and Practice Management software vendor where he was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Prior to e-MDs, he held a variety of management positions with several healthcare specific software companies including Trizetto, VantageMed, and Mariner Systems, and founded a national consulting firm to assist physicians with practice management and EMR system selection. Mr. Andersen graduated with honors from the University of Denver with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing.



Sam Gallant

Vice President, Information Systems

Throughout the past nine years, Sam Gallant has held various positions in systems management, security, and project management. As Vice President of Information Systems, Sam is currently responsible for all IT systems and support, as well as for maintaining security and overseeing HIPAA related activities. His previous positions at Purkinje include Manager of Network Operations and Director of Information Technology. Prior to Purkinje, Sam served in both management and project management roles at Express Scripts, a large Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) based in St. Louis, Missouri. His responsibilities at Express Scripts included implementations, training, and network connectivity.



Lucian Jeglinschi

Vice President, Project Management

Mr. Jeglinschi has held senior level management positions within Purkinje for the past twelve years. His previous roles throughout the organization include Manager of Testing and Quality Assurance, Project Manager for several company initiatives, and Vice President of Research and Development. In his current role as Vice President of Project Management, Lucian manages Purkinje’s diverse portfolio of projects, including Purkinje’s Project Management Office and CFHIS (Canadian Forces Health Information System). Prior to joining Purkinje, Lucian held project management, programming, and engineering positions in France, Romania, and Switzerland. Lucian earned his MSC in Computer Engineering from Polytechnic Institute, his MBA at HEC Montreal, and his PMP at PMI International.



Thomas P. Lonergan, PharmD

Vice President, Clinical Decision Support

Tom Lonergan has over 23 years of experience in clinical, academic, and administrative pharmacy positions. Prior to joining Purkinje, he spent 7 years rounding with Internal Medicine teams at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine Clinics. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and he co-coordinates the Advanced Practice Nursing Pharmacotherapy course at the Jewish Hospital College of Nursing and Allied Health. Tom received a Bachelor's of Science, Pharmacy degree from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ohio State University.



Subba Rao Siddabattula

Vice President, Product Management

Mr. Siddabattula has over 12 years of experience in the computer software industry, including complete life cycle development of products ranging from enterprise applications to state of the art healthcare systems for physician offices. Subba has worked with companies ranging from multinationals like Hewlett Packard and Rockwell Automation and startups like LoginClinic and PCJ MSO. During the last seven years, Subba has designed, architected and developed commercially available EMR and PM systems. He has extensive knowledge of the clinical, financial, and workflow aspects of physician practices. Subba had also worked with various companies to setup offshore development as well as Business Process Management services. Subba holds a Batchelor of Science degree in Nuclear Physics, MBA, and an advanced degree in accounting.



Bernie L. Talley

Vice President and General Manager, Pharmaceutical Division

Bernie Talley’s career in pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging and quality control spans 28 years. For 8 years Mr. Talley was Director of Operations for the pharmaceutical repackaging operations at Caremark Rx. He was responsible for plant operations and all relationships with the FDA and the DEA at this $300 million operation. Prior to Caremark Rx, Mr. Talley worked 20 years for Baxter International in various positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing and quality control. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Physics.



Scott R. Thomas

Vice President, Sales

Scott Thomas is an experienced sales leader with a long tenure in health care. He most recently served as Vice President for Sales & Marketing at Patients 1st, a referral automation and processing company in Dallas Texas. Prior to that he held senior sales positions at Allscripts and WebMD’s ExpressBill division with responsibility for national accounts, strategic partnerships, and sales operations. Scott is a member of HFMA and the German-American Chamber of Commerce. He earned a BA in Management from Hartwick college and is fluent in German.



L. John Doerr

Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers

John Doerr joined Intel in 1974 just as they invented the famous "8080" 8 bit microprocessor. At Intel he held various engineering, marketing and management assignments, and was one of their top-ranked sales executives.

In 1980 he joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and sponsored a series of investments including Compaq, Cypress, Intuit, Netscape, Lotus, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, S3, Sun Microsystems, Amazon.com, Symantec and Google.

John was the founding CEO of Silicon Compilers. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Amazon.com, Move.com, Intuit and Google. The privately-held company boards include Zazzle, Miasole, Bloom Energy, and Spatial Photonics. He holds patents for computer memory devices he invented as a design engineer at Monsanto. Recent interests include education, the Internet, biotechnology and genomics.

John Doerr was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

W. Michael Long

Chief Executive Officer, Move, Inc.

W. Michael Long has served as chief executive officer and a director of Move, Inc. since January 2002. From November 1999 to April 2001, Mr. Long served as chairman of the board and as a director of WebMD Corporation (formerly Healtheon/WebMD Corporation), a provider of healthcare information services and technology solutions. From July 1997 to November 1999, Mr. Long served as chief executive officer of Healtheon Corporation. From August 1996 to July 1997, Mr. Long served as president and chief executive officer of CSC Continuum, Inc. a unit of Computer Sciences Corporation. Prior to its acquisition by CSC, Mr. Long was president and chief executive officer of The Continuum Company, Inc.

Charles J. Willey, M.D.

President of Esse Health and CEO of Essence Healthcare

Dr. Willey has more than 25 years of medical, administrative and leadership experience in the health care industry. He is president of Esse Health and CEO of Essence Healthcare, the region's only physician-owned Medicare Advantage health plan. Dr. Willey remains at the forefront of patient care, specializing in internal medicine through his role as lead physician at Columbia Internal Medicine and Kennerly Internal Medicine.
